A YEAR AT THE ACADEMY

Guest teachers are invited to teach workshops and seminars. Examinations are held to provide a goal and give proof of progress. Ballet and Opera International frequently select students from the Academy to take part in their productions at the Opera House, Cork. Local dance, drama and operatic societies also select dancers from the Academy for their productions.

The high point of the year is the annual performance. Held on stage with beautiful costumes, make-up, and lighting, the performance not only builds self confidence but is also a memorable and enjoyable occassion for all.
